Aftermarket tuner Killa Conversions and Performance in Brisbane is offering a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine swap for the current Ford Ranger Raptor, cranking out 750hp and 670ft-lbs of torque.
The V8 engine swap includes a Roush supercharger and a swap to the 10R80 automatic transmission from the V8 Mustang, significantly boosting power and torque compared to the standard Ranger Raptor.
The V8 conversion costs $89,000 on top of the vehicle's price, voiding Ford's factory warranty, but the company claims it's a better value compared to high-performance full-size pickups not officially available in Australia.
Other options for power upgrades on the Ranger Raptor include offerings from Herrod Performance and Formula Tech, with prices ranging from $6,000 for a Power Pack to $61,000 for V8 swaps.
