Foreign investors withdrew Rs 8,749 crore from Indian equities in the first week of June due to renewed US-China tensions and rising US bond yields.This withdrawal follows a net investment of Rs 19,860 crore in May and Rs 4,223 crore in April.The total outflow in 2025 has reached Rs 1.01 lakh crore so far.FPIs also pulled out significant amounts from debt markets, citing reasons such as low yield differentials between US and Indian bonds.
