The American Federal Trade Commission has issued an additional $126 million in refunds to Fortnite players for unwanted purchases, totaling $200 million refunded so far.
These refunds are part of a $520 million settlement by Epic over complaints including breaching the COPPA and using deceptive tactics in Fortnite's store.
The recent wave of refunds is the second, with over 969,000 payments being distributed, and the claims process has been reopened until July 9.
Epic has implemented new measures to prevent accidental purchases and players can still apply for refunds until July 9, with claims reviewed after February 14, 2025.
