Foxconn has shipped most iPhones manufactured in India to the United States, with 97% exported from March to May this year.
During this period, $3.2 billion worth of iPhones were exported from India, with 97% going to the US.
In May alone, Foxconn exported iPhones worth almost $1 billion to the US.
Foxconn's production units in India are set to double iPhone production to 25-30 million units this year.
The company acquired a 300-acre plot near Bengaluru airport with plans to assemble 20 million smartphones annually, becoming its largest unit in India.
