FPIs Remain Net Sellers Of Indian Equities For Fourth Straight Day

  • Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) remained net sellers of Indian equities for the fourth consecutive day, with net sales of shares amounting to Rs 1,481.2 crore.
  • Domestic institutional investors, on the other hand, were net buyers, acquiring equities worth Rs 1,333.1 crore.
  • FPIs have bought shares worth Rs 1,188 crore in July and Rs 14,590 crore in the previous month, but in 2025, FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 76,713 crore.
  • Indian benchmark equity indices closed lower for the second consecutive day, with the NSE Nifty 50 ending 0.19% lower and the BSE Sensex closing 0.2% down.
