FPIs Stay Net Buyers For A Second Session, Mop Up Equities Worth Rs 3,936 Crore

  • Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) stayed net buyers of Indian equities for the second consecutive session, acquiring stocks worth Rs 3,936.42 crore.
  • The domestic institutional investors, on the other hand, remained net sellers for the second day, offloading equities worth Rs 2,512.77 crore.
  • In April, FPIs have sold shares worth Rs 33,927 crore, while in 2025 so far, they have offloaded equities worth Rs 1.43 lakh crore.
  • The NSE Nifty 50 closed 0.47% higher at 23,437, and the BSE Sensex settled 0.40% higher at 77,044.
