Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) stayed net buyers of Indian equities for the second consecutive session, acquiring stocks worth Rs 3,936.42 crore.The domestic institutional investors, on the other hand, remained net sellers for the second day, offloading equities worth Rs 2,512.77 crore.In April, FPIs have sold shares worth Rs 33,927 crore, while in 2025 so far, they have offloaded equities worth Rs 1.43 lakh crore.The NSE Nifty 50 closed 0.47% higher at 23,437, and the BSE Sensex settled 0.40% higher at 77,044.
