FPIs Stay Net Sellers For Second Straight Session, Offload Equities Worth Rs Rs 5,901 Crore

  • Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) remained net sellers for the second straight session, offloading equities worth Rs 5,901 crore.
  • In 2025, FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 1.16 lakh crore.
  • On the other hand, domestic institutional investors remained net buyers for the third consecutive session, purchasing equities worth Rs 4,322.58 crore.
  • India's benchmark equity indices closed lower for the second consecutive session, with NSE Nifty 50 ending 1.5% down and BSE Sensex ending 1.8% lower.
