Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) remained net sellers for the second straight session, offloading equities worth Rs 5,901 crore.
In 2025, FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 1.16 lakh crore.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors remained net buyers for the third consecutive session, purchasing equities worth Rs 4,322.58 crore.
India's benchmark equity indices closed lower for the second consecutive session, with NSE Nifty 50 ending 1.5% down and BSE Sensex ending 1.8% lower.
