The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is sending out $72 million in refunds to Fortnite players as part of a settlement deal with Epic Games.
The refunds are intended to compensate players who were deceived into making unauthorized purchases and had their content blocked when disputing charges.
Epic Games was ordered to pay $520 million two years ago for using dark patterns to deceive customers and allowing children to make charges without parental involvement.
Fortnite players can still submit claims for unauthorized charges online at ftc.gov/fortnite.
