<ul><li>Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has launched the BlueWhale System, a large and technologically advanced underwater drone.</li><li>The BlueWhale drone measures 36 feet long, weighs 5.5 tons, and can remain submerged for up to 30 days.</li><li>It is capable of discreetly tracking and gathering intelligence, as well as detecting other submarines and mapping mines on the seabed.</li><li>The German Navy, in collaboration with NATO, recently launched a BlueWhale drone in the Baltic Sea for defense and surveillance purposes.</li></ul>
