A new app called Googly Eyes allows users to place a set of virtual googly eyes in the Mac menu bar that will follow the cursor around the screen.
The app is reminiscent of a Classic Mac OS application that was popular in the past, and the little eyes even blink when the mouse/trackpad cursor is clicked.
Googly Eyes is available for free from the developer's website or the Mac App Store, and requires macOS Sequoia 15 or newer to run.
While the app has received positive reviews, there have been some comments regarding CPU usage, although it generally has a minimal impact on system resources.
