French startup Gladia has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round for its speech-recognition API.
Gladia's API offers high accuracy and low turnaround time for converting audio files into text.
The startup competes with other specialized companies in the speech-to-text space and supports diarization and a wide variety of languages and accents.
With the funding, Gladia aims to integrate audio intelligence and large language model tasks into a single API call, as well as improve real-time processing capabilities.
