Global crude oil prices are expected to be around $65 per barrel as per Oil Minister Puri at CII's Annual Business Summit 2025.
Puri mentioned that more crude oil will be available from countries like Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, Canada, and Argentina, contributing to stable prices.
India's refining capacity is projected to increase from 260 million tonnes per annum to 309.5 mtpa by 2028, positioning it as a refining hub.
India focuses on oil and gas exploration to boost domestic production, with over 1 million square kms of sedimentary basins now open for exploration.
