General Motors is warning Corvette ZR1 buyers of voided warranties if they sell or transfer ownership of the car within the first year.
Similar to the approach taken with the Z06 model, GM requires buyers to sign a document stating the consequences of flipping the car within one year.
The consequences include being ineligible to place vehicle reservations for high-demand models and voiding the bumper-to-bumper, powertrain, and other coverages under GM's new vehicle limited warranty.
A voided warranty could result in significant financial expenses, especially given the ZR1's rarity and cost of parts.
