Gmail gains Gemini-powered “Add to calendar” button
- Google has added a Gemini-powered 'Add to calendar' button to Gmail.
- The button will appear at the top of emails and allows users to create calendar appointments with a single click.
- The Gemini sidebar will open to confirm the appointment was made and includes an edit button in case of errors.
- The button does not work for events that already have calendar integration.
