Golgumbaz was built in the 17th century by Mohammed Adil Shah, the seventh ruler of the Adil Shahi dynasty.The mausoleum is a massive structure, measuring 205 feet in length, 123 feet in width, and 198 feet in height.The dome of Golgumbaz is the second-largest in the world, after the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.Golgumbaz has a unique acoustic system, where even the slightest whisper can be heard from anywhere within the structure.
