- The legitimate EditThisCookie extension for Google Chrome has been removed from the Chrome Web Store.
- In its place, a malicious copycat extension called EditThisCookie® has appeared.
- The fake extension has several malicious features, including information stealing and phishing.
- Chrome users are advised to check their installed extensions and remove the fake one if found.
