The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) is set to accuse Google of antitrust practices in violation of the country's laws.
The JFTC alleges that Google forces smartphone manufacturers to pre-install Chrome in a specific spot on devices to gain access to Google Play.
In the US, a federal judge ruled that Google is a monopolist in the search engine industry, and the Department of Justice called for Google to sell Chrome.
Google has released a proposal to appease the DoJ, but plans to appeal the judge's ruling.
