Google has hired an 18-year-old teenager named Stanley Zhong, who was rejected by 16 out of 18 colleges he applied to, including MIT and Stanford.
Stanley Zhong, a 2023 graduate from Gunn High School, Palo Alto, also founded his own e-signing startup, RabbitSign, during high school.
Despite being rejected by many colleges, Stanley received a job offer from Google as a software engineer and has started working at the tech giant.
His story gained widespread attention and was even discussed in a House Committee on Education and the Workforce hearing, which focused on college admissions policies in the wake of the US Supreme Court's decision to ban affirmative actions.
