Google India sacks 453 people from various operations: Report
- Google has reportedly terminated 453 employees across various departments in India, according to sources.
- Sanjay Gupta, the Country Head and Vice President of Google India, is said to have sent out a mail to the affected employees.
- In December 2022, Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc, had announced a global workforce reduction of 6% or 12,000 employees.
