Google has started rolling out AI Mode to all Search users in the US, a feature that was first introduced in its Labs program in March and is now available to the general public.
AI Mode, a chatbot within Google Search, has new updates including tools for shopping, comparison of ticket prices, custom charts for finance and sports queries, and plans to incorporate capabilities into other Search experiences.
Google plans to introduce Deep Search, an evolution of Deep Research mode, to AI Mode, as well as a feature to complete tasks on the web, personalized recommendations, and integration with Google apps like Gmail.
The new shopping features in AI Mode allow it to assist in product selection and purchases, with an emphasis on a seamless user experience. These updates will be available to Labs users first before wider release.
