Google has introduced a new feature in its Google Home update that allows users to assign 'Admin' and 'Member' roles for controlling smart home devices.
Admins have full control over devices, services, and users, while Members have limited control over basic device functions.
Admins can grant Members additional privileges such as 'Settings' access and 'Activity' access to monitor device history.
Google is simplifying the process of adding children under 13 to the Home app by allowing parents to invite them as Members directly through the app.
