Google rolls out user choice billing on Google Play in the UK
- Google is rolling out user choice billing in the UK for Google Play developers.
- Starting from March 29, non-game developers will have the option to use other billing options.
- Developers who choose alternative billing options will receive a 4% discount on fees paid to Google.
- The move is in response to a Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation.
