Google's fix for busted Chromecasts is out now
- Google has released a software fix for older Chromecasts devices that weren't casting.
- Impacted owners receiving an email with instructions to resolve the issue.
- Rebooting the device and reconnecting in the latest version of the Google Home app may resolve the problem.
- Google's support for existing Chromecasts indicates it doesn't plan to end support for them yet.
