Archaeologists have discovered over 200 ancient tombs dating back to the Warring States period in China's Xinjiang province.
The communal graveyard found in Toksun County near Turpan is the largest ever found in the Turpan Basin.
The burial site is believed to have been important to nomadic groups, and evidence of trade within the tombs suggests intercultural interactions.
Further excavations of the tombs and surrounding areas will be conducted to explore burial offerings, artifacts, and reveal insights into ancient China's global interactions.
