Samsung unveiled AI-powered tools to accompany its latest S25 smartphone series at its January 2025 Galaxy Unpacked Event.
Now Brief was previewed as an AI tool, designed to offer personalised briefs based on user schedules and habits, connecting to other Samsung devices including a Galaxy Ring, accessory watch or TV.
Now Brief was pitched as a means to offer tips throughout a user's day, such as reminders to exercise, important dates or events to remember, or outdated vouchers.
Now Brief is powered by Samsung's 'Personal Data Engine' designed to prioritise certain user cues while not inundating the user with unnecessary information.
Audio Eraser will be another feature offered on the new S25 devices, allowing users to edit audio on video content through a noise reduction tool.
Users will be able to proportionally reduce ambient noise in their video content while similarly increasing the audio level of oration accompanying footage.
For users keen to generate AI-generated graphics, updating the pseudo-AI Sketch to Image tool is expected to offer users greater freedom and control when using the feature.
A combination of written prompts and pre-existing images can be mashed together to create a composite final graphic output that meets user needs.
Now Brief, Audio Eraser, and Sketch-to-Image are among the new AI tools users can expect to appear on the new S25 smartphones.
Samsung is focusing on the benefits of a deeply connected smart device ecosystem and making these new AI tools accessible across the new S25 smartphone compatible devices, including smart rings, watches and TVs.
