HCLTech, India's third-largest IT company, has mandated its Digital Foundation Services (DFS) employees to work from the office at least three days a week, effective February 19. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including leave without pay, as per the company's policy.
This move follows similar directives from peers like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. HCLTech's emphasis on in-office presence aligns with a broader trend in the industry, despite ongoing discussions around hybrid work models.
The decision reflects the company's focus on productivity and operational efficiency, amid its strong performance in the December quarter and steady headcount growth.
