- The expansion features a new enemy faction known as the Illuminate.
- The Illuminates are a zombie-like faction, wielding advanced and highly intelligent technology that appears like dark magic.
- The expansion is available on PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
- Helldivers: Omens of Tyranny also introduces new mission areas, which will take players into the streets and urban areas of Super Earth’s colonies.
- The expanded content includes new weapons, enemies, vehicles, structures, and missions.
- Helldivers 2: Omens of Tyranny has also introduced rebalancing and design changes to improve the gameplay experience and offer new challenges to players.
- The update includes changes to the EXO-49 Emancipator and EXO-45 Patriot exosuits, improving their durability and extending their combat effectiveness.
- Missile launcher rifles, sentries, and explosives now have improved resistance to fire, while exploding barrels will now leave behind a trail of flames upon detonation.
- Helldivers 2: Omens of Tyranny offers hours of new gameplay, along with countless new challenges, weapons, targets, and missions.
