Honda and Acura models are under investigation by the NHTSA due to reports of automatic stop-start functions failing to restart after turning off.The investigation applies to certain Honda and Acura models with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine and a nine-speed transmission.Affected owners have reported engines unable to restart after coming to a complete stop, with some requiring a jumpstart.The NHTSA has received over 1,300 driver complaints, including reports of accidents and fires caused by the auto start-stop problem.
