Honda bike prices in Pakistan, including popular models like CD 70 and CG 125, have significantly increased by PKR 2,000 to PKR 6,000 per unit, effective July 1, 2025.
The price surge is attributed to the new 1% Carbon Levy imposed on imported motorcycle engines in the Federal Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26, with the burden transferred to consumers.
Honda CD 70 now costs PKR 159,900, up by PKR 2,000, while Honda CG 125 is priced at PKR 238,900 after a PKR 4,000 hike, impacting various models in the lineup.
Factors contributing to the price hike include rupee depreciation, inflation, energy costs, and import restrictions, posing financial challenges for consumers in Pakistan, notably affecting daily commuters and delivery workers.
