EPFO has started crediting the interest amount for FY25 to the members’ accounts, with an interest rate of 8.25% proposed by the Central Board of Trustees (CBT).
Both employees and employers contribute to the EPF account each month, with interest accrued monthly and reflected in passbooks between June and August.
To check if EPF interest has been credited, subscribers can log in to the EPFO portal, access their passbook, and review contributions and interest credited.
If EPF interest is not visible, subscribers can wait for a few days for it to reflect or lodge a grievance on the EPFO’s online complaint portal for assistance.
