How to Update MacOS Sonoma/Ventura Without Installing Sequoia

  • If you’re not yet interested in installing MacOS Sequoia, you can still install system updates for MacOS Sonoma or Ventura.
  • To update MacOS Sonoma or Ventura, go to System Settings, General, and then choose Software Update.
  • Ignore the MacOS Sequoia upgrade banner and click on 'More Info' under the 'Also available' section to access other updates.
  • Select the updates you wish to install and click on 'Update Now'. This allows you to install system software updates without upgrading to MacOS Sequoia.
