Hewlett-Packard (HP) is planning to lay off about 2,000 employees before October 2025.
The company aims to save $300 million by trimming its workforce, which currently stands at 58,000 employees.
No specific departments have been named, and the job cuts will be made in consultation with local labour associations and in compliance with local regulations.
HP is also focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and customer experience, while undertaking a rebalancing exercise.
