According to a recently released report by SHRM, 62% of HR professionals said they were working beyond capacity and 57% mentioned being understaffed.
However, over 50% of HR professionals and 70% of HR executives still felt that the HR function strategy and management were effective.
In contrast, only 41% of employees considered HR as effective, attributed to their limited insight into the internal operations of HR.
Going forward, HR professionals are looking towards AI as a solution to alleviate the burden on manual practices and make their workloads more efficient.
