HR software company Rippling has sued competitor Deel, alleging it engaged in a corporate espionage scheme, by cultivating a mole within Rippling.
Rippling claims that the mole used its systems to spy on Deel customers and accessed other employees' personal information to aid in poaching key personnel.
Rippling conducted a honeypot test which revealed that Deel's leadership or someone on their behalf provided information about Rippling discussions to the mole.
Rippling aims to stop the misuse of its information and seek compensation for the harm caused by Deel.
