Hyundai is set to launch Pleos Connect, a new infotainment system that integrates various functions into a seamless user interface.
The system is expected to be introduced in the European i30 and the next-generation Tucson SUV, aiming for over 20 million vehicles by the end of the decade.
Pleos Connect features a large touchscreen control panel, mimicking a smartphone interface and incorporating multi-app capabilities and Gleo AI voice recognition.
While Hyundai plans to retain some physical buttons and the instrument cluster, concerns arise over the potential impact of shifting primarily to a touchscreen interface.
