Hyundai is set to launch a hybrid car in India amidst competition from electric vehicles by Tata Motors and Mahindra.
During a recent post-earnings call, Hyundai confirmed the introduction of a strong hybrid car in the Indian market, expanding its powertrain options.
The hybrid car launch is part of Hyundai's strategy, which includes a multi-powertrain approach encompassing petrol, diesel, CNG, EVs, and hybrids.
Hyundai plans to unveil this hybrid car before the decade ends, along with 26 new and refreshed cars scheduled for launch by 2029-30, with at least one car introduced every quarter.
