<ul><li>Insurance group IAG is trialling Starlink “micro terminals” to enable property assessors to work in weather-affected or natural disaster zones.</li><li>The terminals allow assessors to process property damage reports in real-time and remain connected in areas with unreliable internet coverage.</li><li>IAG is collaborating with Optus for the technology trial, deploying the terminals to NRMA Insurance vehicles and mobile pop-claims centres.</li><li>The trial aims to expedite emergency repairs in affected areas, improving the speed at which damage reports are actioned.</li></ul>
