India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heat wave in parts of North and Central India from June 9.
IMD Scientist Naresh Kumar expects a heat wave to hit West Rajasthan on June 9 and extend to South Punjab, South Haryana, South Uttar Pradesh, and North Madhya Pradesh on June 10.
In South India, monsoon is predicted to revive in the next three to four days, with heavy rainfall expected in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
No heat wave warning for Delhi and the National Capital Region, but temperatures may rise by 2–4°C in the next few days.
