- Medical technology company, ONWARD Medical, has raised €50m in gross proceeds for therapies to restore movement, function, and independence in people with spinal cord injury and movement disabilities.
- London-based savings and investment app, MoneyBox, has raised £70m in a funding round led by Apis Global Growth Fund III SCSp, with participation from Amundi. The company's valuation has risen to £550m, just two years after receiving Series D funding.
- ProQR, a drug discovery and development company, has announced a public offering of 18 million ordinary shares for $3.50 per share, targeting total gross proceeds of $63m before expenses.
- Web3 data and AI company, Validation Cloud, raised $10m in funding led by True Global Ventures. The investment will be used to expand its AI products bringing seamless access to Web3 data and enabling unparalleled user experiences to network ecosystems and applications.
- Transatlantic cancer immunotherapy company, Epitopea, raised $31m in pre-Series A financing for RNA-based treatments. The company targets a new class of tumour-specific antigens known as Cryptigen TSAs.
- Legal tech startup, Genie AI, secured $17.8m in Series A funding, led by GV and joined by Khosla Ventures. The company's AI-directed platform aids the drafting of legal documents for firms.
- Sensei has raised €15m in a Series A funding round backed by a host of business angels and investors including BlueCrow Capital, Techstars, METRO AG, and Seaya. It plans to scale 1,000 fully autonomous points of sale by 2026.
- Milan-based Foria Italia, a startup specialising in the recycling of personal absorbent products, has secured €1.7m in funding from Tech4Planet and MITO Tech Ventures. The company aims to recycle up to 100% of waste from absorbent personal products to create a circular economy.
- Data-driven software company, IGNE, has merged with Chippr, a climate technology firm. Both parties will combine their expertise to help organisations tackle strategic and technological challenges, offering more data-driven solutions and digital innovations.
- Renewable energy firm, Drax Group and Smart Green Shipping have partnered to develop and use innovative wind-assisted 'FastRig' technology to decarbonise the shipping sector. The UK Government's Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition grant will match Drax's £1m investment.
