<ul><li>Amazon Web Services (AWS) is adding a new Availability Zone in Maryland to the US East (Northern Virginia) Region, expected to open in 2026.</li><li>The new Availability Zone will support the growth of generative AI and advanced computing workloads in the region.</li><li>This expansion will enhance redundancy and provide customers with the ability to architect highly available applications.</li><li>AWS has four new Regions and 13 upcoming new Availability Zones in progress.</li></ul>
