<ul><li>India has added 15,000 new GPUs under the IndiaAI Mission, increasing the total capacity to nearly 34,000 GPUs.</li><li>Three startups - Soket AI, Gnani AI, and Gan AI - have been selected by the government to build Indian large language models for foundational AI development.</li><li>The startups were chosen from over 500 proposals and are expected to focus on becoming among the top five in the world in their respective areas.</li><li>Additionally, India is working on uploading 367 datasets to AI Kosh, launching a dedicated PhD program in AI research, and implementing a large-scale AI talent development program.</li></ul>
