India and the European Union will start the next round of FTA talks from Monday, aiming to conclude the first phase of the agreement soon.
Due to the uncertain global trade environment, the agreement will be concluded in two phases with the EU team present for negotiations till May 16.
Key areas of focus in the negotiations include market access offers in goods, services, investment, and government procurement.
The proposed India-EU trade pact covers various policy areas like Trade in Goods, Investment, Government Procurement, Intellectual Property Rights, and more, aiming to enhance bilateral trade relations.
