India is in continuous dialogue with the US on the proposed bilateral trade agreement, with a focus on 'India first' vision.Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized the need to safeguard the nation's and public interests and avoid hasty decisions.The target is to finalize the first phase of the agreement by fall this year and more than double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030.Goyal also highlighted the importance of expediting the conclusion of the free trade agreement between India and the EU.
