<ul><li>The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in India has announced that it will reduce the lag in the release of industrial output numbers.</li><li>Currently, the All India Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is released within 42 days from the reference month.</li><li>From April 2025 onwards, the IIP will be released on the 28th of every month, within 28 days from the reference month.</li><li>The release will include quick estimates for the current month and final estimates for the previous three months.</li></ul>
