India and the US are engaging in trade negotiations at a fast pace, aiming for a win-win agreement, according to Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
The ongoing round of talks is expected to last at least four days, representing the first formal discussions since a previous missed deadline in early July.
India is focused on achieving a mutually beneficial deal with the US, with discussions this week centering on the initial phase of the broader trade engagement.
The negotiations are not directly linked to the proposed India-EU trade deal, and a comprehensive agreement covering various segments is anticipated to be finalized gradually over the coming months.
