India is set to launch three new airlines – Air Kerala, Shankh Air and Alhind Air, founded in 2024 and are expected to start their operations in 2025.
Shankh Air to become Uttar Pradesh's first scheduled full-service airline with initial routes including Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and major metro cities.
Air Kerala and Alhind Air to focus on regional demand in Kerala and later cater to international demands, with Air Kerala becoming India's first ultra-low-cost carrier.
Launch dates of the new airlines are yet to be announced, pending the flyer permit from DGCA.
