Indian deeptech startup CIMware, focusing on data center architecture, secures $2.3 million in pre-Series A funding led by Transition VC for scaling operations globally.
Founded in 2022 by Rajiv Ganth, CIMware develops a Composable Infrastructure Module (CIM) unit that integrates compute, storage, and networking for efficient data center deployment, targeting AI and machine learning workloads.
The CIMware technology significantly reduces total cost of ownership and carbon footprint, offering modular upgrades suitable for various cloud environments, departing from traditional server-centric architecture.
The investment will aid CIMware's team expansion, enhance product deployment, and put 20 CIM units in customer sites by December 2025, with plans to scale production for wider deployment and revenue growth targets by 2026-27 and a potential IPO in the next five to six years.
