<ul><li>India's major ports witnessed a 5% growth in cargo traffic in FY25, primarily led by Deendayal Port in Kandla and Paradip.</li><li>Deendayal Port reported a 13% increase in traffic, reaching over 150 million tonnes (mt), while Paradip reported the highest cargo traffic at 150.4 mt.</li><li>The top cargo items handled by these ports include iron ore, fertilizers, coal, petroleum, oil, and lubricants.</li><li>India is also working on developing several port clusters as mega ports with enhanced capacity to meet future demands.</li></ul>
