Indonesia expects to conclude free trade talks with the European Union (EU) by the end of June 2025, according to Airlangga Hartarto, the chief economic minister.
Details of the agreements reached during the talks have not been disclosed.
Negotiations are ongoing, and the timing will depend on the substance of the discussions, as per EU Ambassador to Indonesia, Denis Chaibi.
Indonesia is aiming to diversify its export destinations and address US tariff challenges.
