At the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction, a 1966 GMC 1500 named 'The Color Purple' was showcased by Autohunter Cinema.
The truck, originally painted Iris Mist and pearl white in 1971, was bought by veteran Brandonn Mixon, who later led a project to build transitional housing for homeless veterans.
The Color Purple features a supercharged LS 5.3-liter V8 engine with 585 horsepower, air suspension, powder-coated frame, and 22-inch white wheels.
The truck also boasts custom purple and white interior, including Buddy Bucket seats and a Holley digital gauge cluster, and has a heartwarming story behind it.
